Varella Carl Benito a.k.a. CoachCarl
Personal Portfolio
Due to his ardent passion in scuba diving and adventure sports, Carl founded his aquatic centre in early 1994, after completing his Instructor certification with PADI Inc,.
Carl’s commitment to his greatest passion came to a temporary halt due to a heart attack in the year 2000. He was only age 32 then! Everything from thence onwards began became an icon story of an individual determined to make a comeback into the industry which he loved so much.
During his recuperative period, he embarked onto swimming to stay fit and healthy. Much to his surprise, this period marked a new chapter onto his life. He realized that swimming was a good form of exercise as well as an important lifeskill for anyone who required rehabilitation and survival skills. During his routine check-up in 2003, his personal cardiologist certified him medically fit for diving again.
Currently, he is coupled with several distinguished certifications to coach swimming as well as advance aquatics. Carl is currently an active and certified NROC coach!!
